Heating and cooling without a draft.

GLN Fin 18 is a slim aluminium panel on your wall, warmed or cooled by water from an outdoor heat pump. Designed for your rooms, installed in about three weeks.

No vents. No ducts. Nothing blowing.

GLN moves heat by radiation, the way a sunlit wall feels warm or a stone floor feels cool. An outdoor heat pump warms or cools water. The water runs through the panel, and the walls, floor and ceiling settle toward the temperature you set.

Indoors there is no fan and no compressor. The pipes come down inside the wall from the ceiling and join the panel at a single fitting, so none of them show. No condensation water appears indoors.

Why 27 °C air can feel like 24.5 °C

With the air at 27 °C and cooled walls at 22 °C, the room feels about 24.5 °C.

Felt temperature is roughly the average of air and surface temperature (ASHRAE 55, ISO 7730).

Four parts. One fitting at the wall.

The panel, taken apart.

  • Aluminium fins

Extruded fins give the water’s warmth or coolness a large surface to radiate from.

    18 fins, 33 mm apart

  • Two headers

Top and bottom, they share the water evenly between the fins.

    Ø 28 mm

  • One wall fitting

The pipes come down inside the wall from the ceiling and join the panel here. Nothing runs across the wall.

  • Bracket and feet

They hold the panel steady, with its front edge 90 mm from the wall.

Assembled: 600 × 1800 × 90 mm, and nothing else on the wall.

Nothing in the room spins.

The compressor sits in the outdoor unit. Indoors there is no fan, so there is no fan noise at night and no air blown at your neck. In the room, only water moves, slowly, through aluminium.

GLN is not a box you plug in. Every home gets its own design, and our installers fit the whole system: panels, pipes inside the walls, and the heat pump outside.

  1. 1

    Survey

    Day 1

We visit, measure every room and note the walls, the windows and where the outdoor unit can go.

  2. 2

    Design

    Week 1

You get drawings: panel positions, pipe routes inside the walls and a fixed quote to approve.

  3. 3

    Install

    Weeks 2 and 3

Pipes come down from the ceiling inside the walls. Each panel is hung and joined at one fitting. The heat pump goes outside.

  4. 4

    Switch on

    End of week 3

We fill and test the system, set up the app with you and show you how it runs.
